Engineered for literary depth.
NovelMind does not just summarize books. Our multi-agent neural pipeline decodes the subtle psychological topology of complex characters.
Multi-Perspective Collective Synthesis
Individual reviews are biased and incomplete. NovelMind will cross-examine many conflicting reader critiques, identifying emotional consensus, ideological biases, and divergent reader perceptions.
200k Token Grounding
Critiques are anchored to source book chapters and dialogue so the analysis keeps chronological context and every claim can be checked against the text.
Moral & Archetype Topology
Continuous mathematical vectors instead of arbitrary labels. We compute Jungian archetypes, hubris vs. conscience balance, and subconscious drivers.
Chapter-Strict Chronological Isolation
Never get spoiled by late-book plot twists again. Set your reading progress (e.g. Chapter 14), and our engine only exposes psychological models formed by readers up to that exact moment. Try it in the demo below.
Inspect the Character Dossier.
These are hand-written example dossiers showing the output we are building toward; the AI engine is not live yet. Move the reading-progress slider to hide spoilers, or tap a trait to see the critiques behind it.
Critiques and traits from later parts of the book are hidden, so the dossier never spoils what you haven't read.

Why legacy platforms fall short.
Goodreads was built in 2006 for star ratings and basic book logging. NovelMind is built for high-dimensional character analysis.
| Feature Dimension | Legacy (Goodreads, StoryGraph) | NovelMind Platform |
|---|---|---|
| Evaluation Paradigm | 1 to 5 Star subjective vanity rating | Multi-trait continuous psychological spectrum |
| Review Synthesis | Unindexed comment lists & meme gifs | Collective archetype synthesis across all critics |
| Subconscious Motive Detection | None (Relies entirely on manual reader essays) | Implicit subtext extraction via neural models |
| Spoiler Safeguards | Crude, easily missed checkbox flags | Chapter-strict timeline gating |
| Developer / Researcher API | Deprecated or heavily restricted | Structured JSON character intelligence API |
Conceived in September 2025. Built for the next decade of readers.
Conceived in September 2025 out of deep frustration with superficial star ratings, NovelMind is an independent, pre-seed startup creating the intelligence layer for books. We believe literature is the greatest dataset of human psychology ever produced—and our mission is to make that psychological depth accessible, interactive, and debatable for readers everywhere.
Product Roadmap
From conceptualization in September 2025 to global platform.
Genesis & Hypothesis
Idea conceived in Sept 2025. Curated initial corpus of 500+ classical literature critiques to test psychological extraction algorithms.
Product Design
Designed the dossier format, the trait dimensions (Jungian archetypes, hubris vs. conscience, moral alignment) and the multi-critic consensus approach.
Pre-Seed Private Beta
Live landing page at novelmind.app, waitlist, first working analysis prototype, and accelerator grant submissions.
Public API & Scale
Public developer API launch, book club real-time collaborative analysis workspaces, and publisher partnerships.
Who is building NovelMind
Rıdvan San
Founder
NovelMind started in September 2025 with a simple observation: the reader reviews that stay with you are the ones that change how you see a character, and today they get lost between star ratings and endless comment feeds. I'm building NovelMind to collect those insights and turn them into something readers can explore, question and argue about.
I believe good tools for readers should be open to everyone, so NovelMind will always have a free tier. Paid plans for heavy readers and book clubs will cover the AI costs and keep the free tier sustainable.
